Earlier this year, Chinese imaging technology company Shenzhen Sonida Digital Technology Co. Ltd. (Sonida) officially joined the Micro Four Thirds system and said it was making a Micro Four Thirds camera and lens. A few weeks ago at IFA 2026 in Germany, a camera appeared on the show floor that looked like it could be related to Sonida’s announcement earlier this year. Not so fast!
